Hot Chocolate Protein Banana Bread
This is a mash-up I didn’t know I needed, until I made it!
Classic banana bread meets cozy hot chocolate in this protein-packed loaf that’s soft, rich, and perfect for colder days. Whether you enjoy it warm with a coffee or slice it up for the week ahead, this one’s a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients (makes 12):
2 bananas (180–200g), mashed
¼ cup (60g) natural peanut butter
¼ cup (84g) honey
¼ cup (48g) stevia (or sugar)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
⅔ cup (160ml) unsweetened almond milk
1½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour
¼ cup (25g) cocoa powder
¼ cup (30g) hot chocolate mix
½ cup (40g) vanilla or chocolate vegan protein
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
½ cup (90g) chocolate chips
Optional: mini marshmallows for topping
How to Make It:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix wet ingredients and mashed banana in a large bowl.
Stir in dry ingredients until fully combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and pour into a lined loaf pan.
Top with marshmallows if using.
Bake for 42–48 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
Cool slightly before slicing.
